Instructions for Oral Presentation
1) Create your presentation by PowerPoint
Slide size & resolution:
- - Widescreen format, using the 16:9 aspect ratio to utilize the full screen
- - Resolutions: 1080p recommended / 720p minimum
Add your narration:
- - Language: English
- - Need to have audio narration embedded
- - [Recommended] Put your narrating video on lower right side of each slide (a still photo will be accepted)
- - Make sure that your face does not disturb your presentation slides
Length of video:
- - Keynote / Invited speakers: 25 - 30 minutes
- - Oral speakers: 15 - 18 minutes
*If the length is too short or long, Secretariat will ask the author to revise it.
2) Convert your presentation to MP4
File format and size:
- - Convert the PowerPoint to MP4 (.mp4) (only mp4 format will be accepted)
- - Presentation video files should be no larger than 300MB
- - Bit rate <= 1Mbps bit rate

Naming your file:
- - Session number_your name (given_middle_family)_submission date.mp4

Instructions for Poster Presentation
1) Create your poster by PDF
Poster format and size:
- - PowerPoint slides converted to PDF file
- - Number of slides is not limited if PDF file size within 10MB
Naming your file:
- - Session number_your name (given_middle_family)_submission date.pdf
e.g.) Session1_Akihiko_Ando_20210301.pdf
2) Create your presentation by PowerPoint

- - Create a 5 minutes video preview to go along with your poster PDF
- - It can include a few narrated slides or be a video of you expanding on a few key points of your poster presentation.

- - Convert the PowerPoint to MP4 (.mp4) file (only mp4 format will be accepted)
- - Presentation video files should be no larger than 300MB

Sign in to upload your presentation
Read the instructions above and sign in to upload your presentation video and poster by the deadline. Your video received by the deadline will be published just after your session of the Symposium.
The contact author will receive an email confirming we have received your video. Secretariat will check your file for technical issues and notify the contact author if any revision is necessary.
What’s next?
Connecting test URL will be notified by the Secretariat before the Symposium. Prior to the Symposium presentation, please connect at least 15 minutes before the beginning of your session.
The session chairperson will introduce you as the presenter then your video will be shown. Subsequently, Livestreaming Q & A will start. Questions from participants will be accepted through a Q & A chatroom separately and the chairperson will speak for to ask you.
